Mexican Soccer Ref Gets Fed Up With All The Complaining, Knees A Player Directly In The Nuts While Giving Out A Yellow Card

I found myself in a real pickle here. On one hand, refs are just the worst of the worst. On the other hand, complaining has gotten out of control. Every single call in soccer we have someone with their hands up and doing the shoulder shrug or finger wag. That said, I side with the player here. I can't let refs get away with this. I've long said there's no one more smug, no one with more power than a ref giving out a card during a soccer match. They come running up to you the card perched high above their head and just demand you walk to them. At least when we get technicals in basketball that can happen from across the court. I don't have to stand there like a scared little kid waiting for my scolding. 

And now Fernando Hernandez got a 12-match ban. Frankly it's not enough. He should be banned from ever reffing, or he should have to ref like 8th-tier soccer. You can't just knee anyone in the nuts. Do you know how painful that is? I'm sure we'll hear a podcast say getting hit in the nuts isn't that painful because they don't have nuts, but it sucks. It's the second worst feeling in a soccer game. The worst being the ball on a cold day smashing your dick back into your stomach.
